Hey Mark; Best advice from Max. I had a rear blow-out at 50 mph, lucky for me not too much traffic on the road, but still scary and hard to control. I don't even want to think about a front blow-out, you would probably go high-side. I put Kenda tires on mine, not bad rubber for the price, I also used the 140/90 and with no problem at all.
Don't trust cracked tires. Frank M
